User Management

All User Management is done via the Oversight webapp. Not all permissions can be set by the Org Manager, please contact us if you require assistance.

Organisation Permissions

  • Org Manager
    • Create user
    • Delete user
    • Set permissions for user
    • Create API keys for the Org
  • View all Publications
    • List Publications and stats available to the Org
    • List a Publication's articles if it's available to the Org
    • View all articles' reports
  • View all Submissions
    • List all Sites
    • List all Sites' Submissions
    • View all Submissions' reports
  • View Submissions via Secure Links
    • When secure links are used, allow the user to click on that link.
  • View Submissions not on a site
    • List submissions that were sent but not attached to a Site (deprecated)
    • View submissions report not attached to a Site (deprecated)

Site Permissions

Sites are usually used to correspond to a Site in an external manuscript tracking system, usually one per Journal. Each Site may also be assigned a Publication, using an OpenAlex Source ID, which also allows them to form access control for specific Publications to specific users.

These Permissions are applied on a per-site basis.

  • View Submissions
    • List a Site's submissions
    • View an individual submission report on the given site
  • View Publications
    • List a Publication's articles
    • View an individual article's report
